Yep, we are lucky enough to be able to vamoose and we're out of here for two weeks. Going to be winging our way to Japan for a couple of weeks to meet and greet one loyal reader of the blog (see how lucky the other three of you are? Keep reading and we may come and impose on you!).
We will be back in the middle of March, in time for family (cousins from Wisconsin) to come and visit us.
All doggie adoption requests will be read while we are away, so if you want him, don't be shy.
We're here in the rain forest of Costa Rica, managing a Tree House B&B, where the tree houses (seven total) are high amongst the trees...our neighbors consist of loads of hummingbirds, some monkeys, sloths, frogs, snakes, iguanas, geckos and various other critters...we look forward to sharing with you some pics and blog entries as we continue on our jungle journey...

Also, very loving. . .
and affectionate. He was a street dog, wandering around on the roads with hardly any fur until Lucy scooped him up. He is just looking for good home and all shots, neutering and airfare will be included.

Pretty amazing
What a couple of weeks will do for a sick pooch. Here is the fellow, who is still spotted, but now has fur all up and down.
Really a gentle thing, about 2 years old, and he is just thriving with the proper food and medication.
It has been a while since the last post, and the pictures were taken before this post, as we have been just swamped.
The little fellow is all up to date on shots and vaccinations and is ready to go to a new home.
With three dogs here at the hotel already, we just don't have the space for him. There are some options in Costa Rica, but he would be much better off in a good home in the States.
More pictures to come.

Up For Grabs V
Just think: After another couple of weeks, he will be like new, and ready for a new home. And, he will be singing soprano (no choice, rescue dogs are always snipped or clipped here). A very sweet, gentle, pooch that has a bit of golden lab (maybe? no one knows for sure as spaying and neutering are not popular here) and will be a great addition to anyone's home.
First one to e-mail or message gets the little fellow.
