This is fairly impressive lens work by the editorial department, considering how slow a sloth moves, typically.Rolando, our night watchman, found this young sloth on the ground and brought him up to the house to show us and a couple of guests.
The editorial department, being fleet of foot and mind, grabbed the first camera and fired off a shot--sans flash.
Really, things weren't moving that fast, and the camera ran out of batteries right after this one shot.
So, it looks like things are moving very quickly, but not really at all. This has to be some sort of photographic technique that only true professionals can capture, is what the editorial department is thinking.
