This is our front yard. No grass, too much trouble to get it growing. There's a big almond tree right in front that shades a good portion of the area, so the owners back in the day opted for gravel. There are some bird feeders that we put plantains out on occasion to attract the larger birds. The front gate is about 150 yards or so from the house.
